Blog Tour - Sex Love Repeat by Alessandra Torre - Review & Giveaway

Sex Love Repeat Blog Tour Banner

I love two men. I screw two men. I am in a relationship with them both, and they are both aware there is another. That is all they need to know, that is all I let them know. They don’t need to know a name; they don’t need to know anything, but that they are not alone in my heart. They have accepted the situation. Stewart, because his life is too busy for the sort of obligations that are required in a relationship. Paul, because he loves me too much to tell me no. And because my sexual appetite is such that one man has trouble keeping up. So we exist, two parallel relationships, each running their own course, with no need for intersection or conflict. It works for us, for them, and for me. I don’t expect it to be a long-term situation. I know there is an expiration date on the easy perfection of our lives. I should have paid more attention, should have looked around and noticed the woman who watched it all. She sat in the background and waited, tried to figure me out. Saw my two relationships, the love between us, and the moment that it all fell apart. She hates me. I don’t even know she exists. She loves them. I love them. And they love me. EVERYTHING else hangs in the balance.
Throw EVERYTHING you assume about this book out the window.  Why?  Because just when you think you know what's going to happen or the way things will play out, the story will go complete the other direction.

One thing I love about Alessandra's work is every single story is unique.  More than that, she doesn't follow what I like to call the "norm" of writing where you can already predict what's going to happen even before you get close to the end.  That's one of the reasons that I keep coming back for more of her work.  She's one of the only authors that I can say I have read all of her published work.  Why?  Her stories are well thought out, characters are so well developed, and the sex scenes are always hott.

This book is not exception.  I mean just look at the name it has Sex in it.  I at first expected a girl who strings two men along waiting for the next best thing to come along and then there's the woman who's watching everything play out.  I expect her at any moment to murder Madison at any moment.  Madison loves sex.  Some women have sex to show men how much they care about them, some do it out of society's belief that a woman should have sex with a man just because, but in Madison's case she just enjoys sex.

For the past two years she's been with Stewart.  Stewart is a busy man who's first love is his job.  He works an obscene amount of hours and doesn't have time for a relationship.  He doesn't date, he doesn't have a girlfriend that waits at home for him at night, and he doesn't have a line of women waiting outside his door.  That all changes when he meets Madison.  On their second date they are already drawn to one another, but Madison refuses to be exclusive with Stewart who doesn't have the time to commit to an actual relationship.  Most of their time spent having sex in his office or his condo inbetween his work and only when he has time.  He showers her with gifts and praise, he loves her but not enough to leave his job.

Finally tired of sharing Madison with strangers, he has this crazy idea that she should find a boyfriend who can be there for her in a way he can't.  To love and protect her and be there for her whenever she needs him.  About six months after they started dating in walks Paul.  Paul is a surfer who lives for his next wave and lives a carefree life.  Right from the start they hit it off and soon are living together.

Madison keeps her two worlds separate never bringing them together, never using their names around one another.  They know about one another, but they don't know each other.  It works for the three of them, but they both know they own a portion of Madison's heart.  Paul doesn't like it but he shares because having a piece of Madison is better than none at all, Stewart is too busy to be concerned with it.  But someone watches in the shadows, someone who hate's Madison, someone who loves both Paul and Stewart.  Someone who wants to protect them both from Madison, someone who doesn't understand their situation.  What is her connection to them and when their perfect arrangement goes from perfect to a nightmare what will happen to Madison's once perfect life?

All I can say is WOW.  Madison is living a dream life that some women would kill to have.  She is free to have sex with two men who know about one another.  There is no sneaking around, there are no lies, just one woman in love with two men and two men in love with one woman.  Their arrangement works for them which is great, but for me it always seemed like Paul wanted more and doesn't want to share.  Dana is unique in this story.  She hates Madison, Madison doesn't know her, but she loves these two men and will do anything to protect them from Madison who she believes is going to hurt them.  There is so much pain wrapped around the past in their lives and as you begin to understand everything clicks into place.  By halfway through this book it quickly skyrocketed to the top of my top 10 favorite books.  This story is not one I will soon forget, and I will look forward to what adventure Alessandra will take us on next because I'm sure it will blow our minds once more.  Take everything you think this novel is about and throw it out the window because whatever you are thinking is probably not even close to the reality of this story.  5 AMAZING stars.
