Anna now has two masters, Devin and Alex. One wants to break her the other only wants her love. It's a battle of who has more control Devin or Alex. This is a sad story, one that has many ups and downs. When Anna's life is going great, things are great. When they are bad, believe me they are bad.

Devin wants to keep Anna hidden away in the manor and do his bidding for him. His goal? To take over. There's just one hitch in his plan, ALEX. Alex wants Anna to experience life outside of the manor, to understand what it is like to be a normal girl who experiences normal things. After all, Anna is only twenty. He doesn't want Anna to come to him because he is her "Master" he just wants Anna. All of her.

Things that seem absurd to you and me are normal for Anna. You really have to step outside of conventional thinking and what society tells you is right from wrong if you want to enjoy this book. The things that I thought were crazy and out of this world are normal in the way she was brought up. Anna was taught to withstand high amounts of pain and that she is to please a man. There's one things that Anna understands, and that's seduction. Anna will learn about emotions and what it is like to be free from the manor for the first time in her life. She will experience happiness, she will experience pain and longing, and most of all she will experience just how far Devin will go to dominate her.

I will warn you again that this is not for the faint of heart. At one point I had to take a break because one of the scenes was so brutal and so realistic I wanted to jump through my Kindle to save Anna. Her journey is a long one, she will love many men, she will experience a lot of hurt, but most of all, she will begin to experience life.

This book was hard because Alex is gone for most of it and I really like Alex and I hope to see more of him in the next book. This book is long, there are a lot of moving parts to it, but if you pay close attention and follow the story it's an amazing journey of one woman unlike any other. Amazing 5 star read.

The Unseelies seek to take down the Seelies and restore themselves into power, back to the way things were on the magickal island of Sitnalta, before the Great Atonement. However, the Seelies only want to pursue balance, harmony, in all things.

And me? I’m stuck in the middle, torn between two worlds.

This is not a faerie tale.

Mya is special and she's known this her entire life, she just doesn't realize how special she truly is. As the only hybrid, she's one of a kind and she's about to be in the middle of a war between the Seelie and Unseelie court who will battle to take control of her and the other side wants to destroy her.

This story picks up with a bang, in the first few pages her friend's brother dies and a stranger enters her home in the dead of night. Cole is supposed to be there on a mission but the second he gets near Mya he is drawn to her. Their attraction to one another is instant and takes hold not just of him but her as well causing her to feel something she's never felt before. He's a member of the enemy court, but her Unseelie side is drawn to him and she submits to him.

That is the night before all hell breaks loose. The next morning she awakens to find her house is burning down and she's left with only a few items she was able to grab from when her parents were alive. Her life is turning on its axis at every single possible moment. She goes from grieving over a friend, to being in the arms of a stranger, to her house burning down, to finding out the sexy stranger is the fire inspector, and finally to being accused of burning her own house down.

Can Mya figure out what is really going on and who she truly is before it is too late? Can she learn to trust Cole or is it too late for their bond to be saved?

While this was a novella and there is another part coming out next month, it still managed to capture my attention within the first three pages. I wasn't expecting the story to take off the way it did, but it sure did and was full of twists and turns that left me wanting more and more until the very end of this novella which has me waiting anxiously for the next part to come out. I'm normally not into these types of books that have paranormal elements but this one surprisingly was really good and I cannot wait to see where Mya and Cole end up in all of this and what role Gavin really plays in all of this. Easily a 5 star book.

REVIEW

Shay Bommer has been undercover for the last six months cut off from everyone including his brother Tait. It's waiting at the airport for a meeting that he meets Zoe Chestain. Shay has never felt the kind of instant connection he feels with Zoe and he immediately knows she's submissive and she's just what he's been looking for but at the same time doesn't have time for right now. Doesn't stop Shay from going after Zoe and falling into bed with her. It's a couple of hours of passion unlike anything Shay has ever felt and Zoe who has always been curious about BDSM but thought she was terrible at it finds herself that night. Too bad Shay can't allow it to go beyond that especially when he discovers that Zoe is on the plane that he will hijack tomorrow.

Zoe is devastated and confused about the way that Shay abruptly left but to her it becomes crystal clear when her plane is hijack and one of them just so happens to be Shay. To her it doesn't matter that she still feels this undeniable attraction to Shay, he's the bad guy and that's what she needs to focus on.

As their story progresses, Zoe learns who Shay really is, but it still doesn't change the fact that technically she's still his hostage and Shay has a mission that still needs to be completed. Can Shay and Zoe find their happy ending even with so many forces working against them?

This story had a good plot and hot scenes all around, but for me it failed to hit the mark all around. It had its moment at the beginning and towards the middle but I was forced to downgrade my rating from and 5 to a 4. It had a great story and was well written but the story started to fizzle in the middle and I found myself starting to lose interest in the story. In the end it was a good story so it was still worth it, its just it was missing something in the middle that would've kept me going until the very end. I loved Zoe she had a fire about her that is not often seen especially with women that have been through traumatic events but at the same time I had an issue with it because she seemed like she went through a normal flight with normal events most of the time and in reality she went through a serious of events that I felt should've had more of an effect on her over all. Even with all of this it still was a great story but I will say this it does help to have read the previous books, which I didn't because it reveals things about past characters that kind of ruin the previous books if you haven't read them. So for me in a lot of ways, there is no reason for me to go back now and read their story. Obviously I won't ruin it if you haven't read them, but I really feel like I should've read them first and was never told that. So for that, I give it 4 stars.

Zoe Delacourte thought that landing an interview or some insider information from Jax Traeger and Hunter Ericksen would land her some recognition and perhaps a feature story that would skyrocket her to the top. She knew plenty about Jax and Hunter from what she’s read and from the pictures she’s saw but the Internet was limited and didn’t want to tell her the information that she wanted to know.

She went into their clubhouse thinking she could get information about the death of one of The King’s members, but instead she finds herself caught in-between Jax and Hunter. She’s naïve and inexperienced so she doesn’t expect it when both Jax and Hunter find her irresistible. Instead of seeing her as fat or overweight, they see a woman with curves they can grab onto. Both brothers are tired of women that are too skinny and do too many drugs and find they are unable to stay away from Zoe.

It was supposed to only be one night they spent together and even after they find out that Zoe is a reporter, they can’t seem to get their minds off of the firecracker that landed in their arms. Zoe is a distraction they do not want and cannot afford especially with their biggest payday looming in the near future. But no matter how much they try, they cannot stay away from her and it doesn’t help matters that she won’t let the story go and continues to stick her nose where it doesn’t belong.

Their passion is explosive, their need for Zoe is one they cannot resist, but will Zoe’s curiosity get her killed before she even discovers what’s really happening between her and the two bad boys that can’t seem to get enough of her?

I loved this story. It was a little short for my taste, but it was full of passion and there was even some mystery involved surrounding the murder of one of the members of The Kings MC. Zoe was an amazing heroine who could hold her own and didn’t back down from a challenge and Jax and Hunter were just as bad ass as they made themselves seem at the beginning of the book. There were a couple of things I didn’t like. The first was the fact that there was no actual distinction in terms of where each chapter began. Instead of the traditional “Chapter” header, there was nothing and it kept switching POV so you really have to pay attention to who is speaking when their turn comes around. The other issue I had was that some of the words I didn’t understand. That’s just perhaps something on my part that I didn’t like. I had to stop a couple of times and look up words because for the life of me I couldn’t figure out what they meant. Because of this I have to lower my rating to a 4. Overall it was a great book and I look forward to reading more by this author in the future.
