An up and comer trying to make a name for herself...

KYLIE never expected to be stuck on a tour bus with a pampered princess and her boyfriend’s ex.

A troubled artist struggling to hold onto his career...

TRACE thought he was finally getting to do things his way. Until the label added co-headliner Gretchen Gibson, the only person in country music with more issues than him, to his No Apologies tour.

Surrounded by tabloid rumors and people they can't trust, Kylie and Trace need each other more than ever. But the choices they make will change everything.

Because chasing your dreams and following your heart don’t always lead you to the same place…

***WARNING***  If you have not read Girl With Guitar, please do not read this review, it contains spoilers

For those of you that wanted more Kylie and Trace your wish has come true.  I know mine has.  I fell in love with both Kylie and Trace in Girl With Guitar so I was very happy to find out about Girl On Tour after finishing Girl With Guitar.  Caisey did not disappoint in this one either, all it did was leave me craving more of their story.

Kylie's wish has come true.  She's about to go on tour with Vitamin Water.  Issue is that one of the girls on the tour got pregnant and dropped out.  So she's being stuck with a sixteen year old pampered princess and her worst nightmare Trace's ex-girlfriend Mia Montgomery who is as excited to be on the tour with Kylie as she is to get her teeth pulled at her next dental appointment.

Trace is happy to see Kylie heading off on tour to follow her dreams, he's about the resume is own.  He's going back on tour and gets to set the venues and dates, but there's a dark cloud looming over his tour and that would be Gretchen Gibson.  Gretchen is the female version of Trace.  She's drunk all the time and doesn't care if she passes out or does crazy things on stage.  This is their last chance to get their act straight or the label will drop them both.  It's like killing two birds with one stone, but Trace is determined to make the best of it.

What started out as a long distance relationship full of meaningful texts, phone conversations, and Skype dates quickly turns into a few texts now and then mixed in with phone calls as they both get busy with their schedules.  But while Kylie has to deal with the females on her tour, it's the rumors, photos, and time apart that begin to take it's toll on their relationship.

What started out as a dream for Kylie and an attempt for Trace to save his career becomes a fight to save the relationship that they've developed.  To chase your dreams, sometimes you need to give up things you never thought you'd question.  Sometimes your past becomes too much to handle and you return to old habits.  In the end can their relationship survive life on tour?

I loved, loved, loved the return of Kylie and Trace.  They both get to follow their dreams and have one another.  This book had so much more emotions for me than Girl With Guitar.  That book was more about saving Trace this book was so much more than that.  I'm not really going to go into too much detail because if I do it gives away too much of what happens towards the end of the book.  Let me just say that right now I am NOT a huge Trace fan right now.  I am not, he's on my list of book boyfriends with a great big red line through his name.  I am hoping he can redeem himself in Girl In Love because as much as I hate him right now and some of the things he said and did throughout the book, I still want to see a different side of him.  This book is well worth the read and great book leading into the final book in the series, 5 stars!

Oh and I've had a sneak peek at the third book and I am SOOOO looking forward to reading it!
