All Tyler Karras wants is to enjoy life with his expectant bride. What he gets instead is a graveside seat at her funeral. With the woman who killed her uncharged and still free, all Ty wants now is revenge.

His brother, Nick, has dangerous connections and suggests a sadistic plan:  grab the woman responsible and hand her over to his associates--sex-traffickers in San Francisco's Russian Mafia. They offer Ty more than he dreamed possible. In exchange for the woman, they'll finally let his brother leave the business for good--with his debt wiped clean and his heart still beating.

There's just one problem:  Ty kidnaps the wrong woman.

Now he must protect Hannah Maguire from the very enemy he's unleashed, but the Russians are holding Nick as leverage to force Ty to complete the deal. Caught in a no-win situation, Ty must find a way to save himself, his brother, and the woman, but with the Russian Mafia, even two out of three makes for very long odds.

My Review:
***Word to the wise - If you are looking for Erotica this is not the book for you, if you are looking for sweet romance this is not the book for you, and this book is also not for the faint of heart and I recommend this book for 18 and over due to some of the graphic scenes***

I loved this book it was one of those books that has you reading well into the late night and has you telling yourself that you’ll go to sleep after you finish just one more chapter.  That happened to me, at first when I started reading this book and was introduced to Tyler, Nick, and Jillian I kept thinking to myself that this book was going to be so predictable and that I could totally tell what was going to happen next but by the time I got to 30% I was scratching my head at a loss for words because the book totally didn’t go where I thought it was going to go.

At the beginning of the book we meet Tyler and Nick two brothers who live in San Francisco California, Nick has been hospitalized twice the first time after he was in a car accident killing his mother, father, and younger sister, the second time and the start of this book is after Nick gets beat up by thugs getting Tyler involved.  It becomes apparent from the beginning of this book that Nick has some serious problems.  He’s not only gotten himself involved with the Russian mafia but he has a serious drinking and drugs problem that has gotten him into quite a bit of trouble.  We also meet Tyler’s wife Jillian, and learn that they have the perfect life together and that Nick appears to be the bad brother and Tyler the good brother.  Jillian and Tyler are on top of the world they just got married, they are expecting their first child together, and they want to buy their first home so their family can have a place to call their own.  But after Jillian’s identity is stolen and an unknown source runs up $18,000 worth of credit onto one of her credit cards does her world begin to fall apart.  They lose their chance at buying their dream home and learn that a woman by the name of Erin Anderson who works at a spa that Jillian visited appears to have made a copy of her credit card and has seemingly destroyed her dream of them owning their own home.  Desperate for justice that the police will not give her, Jillian turns to Nick for help after Tyler refuses to do anything other than to let the police deal with the case on their own.  When Tyler finds out about Nick and Jillian’s plans, he tells Nick to stay away causing Jillian to take matters into her own hands and confront Erin herself resulting in Jillian’s death.

Heartbroken and devastated over the loss of his wife and unborn child, Tyler is destroyed.  He doesn’t know how to get past the pain and grief over the loss of his family so when Nick comes to visit him and suggests that he drink and take some pills to numb the pain Tyler decides it can’t hurt and for the first time in his life, Tyler begins to understand the grief and remorse his brother experienced after the death of their family.  Drunk and bitter with anger over what has happened to his wife, Tyler and Nick devise a plan to get their payback against Erin by kidnapping her and turning her over to the men Nick work for.  There’s just one problem, Tyler ends up kidnapping the wrong girl, one Hannah Maguire who not only looks almost identical to Erin but Hannah’s husband also is having an affair with Erin and so begins the journey of Tyler, Nick, and Hannah to free themselves from the clutches of the Russian mafia and repay the debt that is owed.  You join Hannah and Tyler as they run from the Russians, from their feelings towards one another, and you get a first hand look at not only the pain Tyler has experienced but also the pain Hannah has had to endure in the last few years of her marriage.

This story is about love, loss, redemption, revenge, remorse, and forgiveness.  It has to all; it takes you through an emotional roller coaster in one man’s attempt to get over the loss of his mother, father, sister, wife, and unborn child while also learning to love his brother again.  I especially love the fight scenes in this book and the realistic feel of the action sequences, Nancy makes you FEEL like you are right there living the scenes right along with the characters.  This isn’t normally the type of book that I read I however loved every second of it.  I wish I could go into more detail and tell you all about the things that happen in this book, but I can’t do that you will just have to pick up a copy and check it out!
