In this first steamy e-short of excerpts from Rebecca’s Lost Journals, Rebecca reveals her first submissive experience—with the man who will become her Master.

My review: After reading the first journal, it left me thinking about how much in common Sara and Rebecca have but at the same time how differently they both feel towards Mark and Chris.  If you have not already done so you should go back and read If I Were You prior to starting the journals so it's easier to understand what I am talking about and since the characters are the same as in the book.  Sara and Rebecca both share the same love of art but for both they share the same view that a career in art does not pay the bills and they both have degrees in art and even though it was for different reasons they both ended up at the same art gallery and instantly fell in love and knew they belonged and they both felt very strongly about Mark and had similar feelings about the vibe he gives off and that he is a very strict boss.  One of the first things that I noticed and loved about the journal entries was that they were written so well and weren't told in a manner as to say when she refers to "master" that she says my "master" is named _________ if it had it would have made it seem too much like Rebecca was reading a story to someone else and not making an entry into her own personal journal.  I look forward to reading more of Rebecca's journals because all the first journal did was leave me wanting more.

In the second steamy e-short of excerpts from Rebecca’s Lost Journals, Rebecca is faced with a contract to be a submissive that she doesn’t want to sign—and her would-be Master has unusual methods of convincing her…

My Review: One of the things I love about these journals and especially in this one is that you can feel what Rebecca is feeling in her words.  It's not just someone writing their personal thoughts on a piece of paper to read about later or to get personal feelings out you can feel her anxiety over the contact that she has been given to by her potential master.  I love how she wrote out the terms of the contract that she couldn't live with and what she might be able to live with and how she felt about it it really gives the reader an insight into how she is feeling at that moment.  At this point I'm not sure what I think of this guy he has his moments but most of the time he just seems to want to push Rebecca into being his submissive.  I also worry about these dreams that she keeps having and while you read it's almost like you can sense that something bad is going to happen.  I look forward to reading more about her potential master and where this relationship of theirs will lead to and my major question I ask myself is who really is "master"?  I can suspect all day who I think he is but it's never actually stated and that just makes me want to read the next set of journals and Being Me more and more.  The journals make you WANT to read more into the series just when you think you know what is going to happen and where the story and the journals will take you, it goes off in a completely different direction.

My Review: This volume really dives deeper into depth the relationship that is beginning to form between Rebecca and master.  I can tell based off of the way that Rebecca is writing in her journal that she is discovering things about herself but also losing herself.  In such a short amount of time she is becoming dependent on master and seems to have lost herself in the relationship that they are forming.  She says things like how she used to be find with going to bed alone and now all she can think about is master which worries me because she seems so dependent on him and is starting to fall for him and as she sees it in her mind she will always need him more than he will need her.  What also worries me is these nightmares that she is having all the time she senses something bad is going to happen and I am starting to feel this way as well through reading her journals.  I loved reading more about her lessons and especially the last one in the club these journals are so well written and enjoyable.

My Review: This volume begins more than a year after the end of the last volume and already you can sense Rebecca's heartache.  The reader can really see how she has changed since she's discovered herself again and she worries that this relationship is not enough.  She love master but does he love her?  That's something I have been questioning myself but more so the answer to who "master" really is is killing me and it keeps me reading and wanting more of this story.  I can also tell by the way that Rebecca writes her journals that their scenes have grown much darker and more intense than the sessions in the previous journals and the darker they get the more confused and lost she seems to become.  As I read this I could feel my heart breaking for Rebecca she just seems to want so much more than she is getting out of her master and I wonder if she will.  This volume was by far the best out of the four volumes and I now look forward to reading Being Me the next installment in the Inside Out trilogy.
