Sarge walks into the kitchen and looks between the coffee all over the fridge door, the smashed porcelain on the ground and me, chuckling.
“That went well,” he says and lets his own laughter rip from his lips. “Heard her shrieking like a banshee out in the yard.”
“She wants to go home.” I rub my hands over my eyes and try to relax, but knowing she’s pissed isn’t great for me.”
“Women are different,” Sarge says with a shrug.
“Tell me about it.”
“Sometimes it’s best to shut the fuck up and not fight ‘em.” Sarge sits in the chair that Nix was sitting in.
“You pussy-whipped?” I ask as I feel my eyebrows draw together in question.
“Hmmm.” He reverts back to normal Sarge. “Women wanna be told what to do, but you need to make it look like it’s their idea.”
“That’s fucked. She should just do what I say and be happy with it.”
Sarge shakes his head. “She’s right, you’re a dick.”
REVIEW
Ever since Jaeger laid eyes on Phoenix Ward, he’s wanted
to have her as his. He spots here one
night during a fight and her fire red hair and innocence attracts him
instantly, Jaeger only sees her for a moment before she’s gone not to be seen
again.
Doesn’t matter that Jaeger lost sight of her, he wants
Phoenix and he’ll do whatever it takes to have her. His chance comes again when a debt is owed to
him and he goes to collect Freedom Run.
Only issue is that the man who owns the property is dead and left behind
his daughter to look after the property.
It’s here that Jaeger finds her once more. As the president of the Hunters MC, he could
have any woman he wants, but it’s still Phoenix he’s determined to make his
own. If only she would make it that simple.
Phoenix has no idea that Jaeger wants to make her his
woman. She’s alone on a struggling
property that her father left behind after his death leaving her to deal with
debts she didn’t even know that he has.
Jaeger isn’t the only one that has come to collect on the debt her
father owes; he’s just the only one that doesn’t want her served on a platter.
The attraction between them is undeniable, but Phoenix
will do everything in her power to fight against the attraction between them
and is determined to stay out of his bed.
Only issue is, will his bed and arms be the safest place for her?
It’s been a while since I’ve read an MC novel that I’ve
in love with. I loved Phoenix, she held
her own and never showed any weakness.
The only weakness she has is Jaeger.
Jaeger was a little hard to like for a while because he was just so
raw. He spoke his mind and didn’t
apologize for it, but as the book progressed he grew on me and let me just say
that the passion between these two was explosive and didn’t let up for a
second. I highly recommend this book and
give it 5 stars.

I don't do 'normal'. I've found that the more I write, the more I like being different to other authors. I write in first person, and I love to challenge a reader. I take the normal and switch it around. For me, I really enjoy getting a reaction from a reader. So if I can evoke an emotion (regardless of if it's the emotion the reader wants) then I figure that I've done my job as an author I want to be. I really quite revel in taking people out of their comfort zones and pushing them to read something different. My genre of writing is, well quite frankly, where ever my mind goes. I won't label myself because I don't like sticking to one genre. My goal with writing is just to take people away from whatever is going on in their lives, even if it's only for a split second. I'm a go with the flow sort of person and don't really take a course of action to get where I am going. I live in the moment and don't usually worry about tomorrow because whatever life is due to bring me, I'll be happy to accept. I love my family and friends and will help anyway I can if someone needs it. I really don't like people that are nasty just because they can be, I don't believe that's necessary, I mean life's hard enough as it is! I hope you enjoy my books, I've had a hoot writing them. There's more to come..... Til next time. M xx
