For those that love the Boys of the South Series, comes the next book in the series Burn for You featuring Beau Montgomery. While you don't need to read the other books in the series to enjoy this novel, I highly recommend reading them all.
Beau Montgomery is used to disappointment. Moving in with his dad wasn't in the plan, neither was his on and again off again relationship with Paisley Sawyer. Their relationship is complicated and Paisley is always taking advantage of Beau. One day she wants him, the next the doesn't. Beau is no stranger to partying, drinking, and women. That all changes the moment that Mia is born. Doesn't matter that Mia might not be his, he's determined to be in her life. With an upcoming race in Monaco and Paisley agreeing Mia can stay with him, Beau needs a nanny, the sooner the better.
Landry Basnight is your everyday college girl. She's got more student debt than she can ever pay back in her lifetime, nothing exciting ever happens to her, and she needs a job more than anything else right now. She doesn't need the attraction she feels towards Beau, it could cause her to lose her job, and she doesn't need her attachment to Mia. Doesn't stop either of those things from happening. But Beau is determined to just be friends with Landry and Landry is determined to pay off her student loan debt and keep her job.
Their passion is explosive, it will change everything, but when Paisley reenters the picture can Landry and Beau survive it?
I loved Beau and Landry. All Beau wants is to be a father to his little girl regardless if she's his or not, Mia only wants to do a good job and loves taking care of children. She's so kindhearted and loves those around her, even including Paisley as much as possible when it comes to Mia much to Beau's dismay. Their passion and relationship quickly takes off and doesn't let go until they have fallen for one another. For a long time I was worried about Beau and Paisley, I didn't know what was going to happen but by the end of the book I was in tears and couldn't see straight. It was such a beautiful story and won't be anything like what you expect it to be so as always expect the unexpected from the Boys of the South because you never know where their journey will take you. I give it 5 stars and hope to see more books in this series in the future.
