Faith Ann has always lived a simple life. One where she had a great boyfriend, her brothers, her best friend, and her father. One day, that all changes Faith and she leaves her small town in Alabama and heads to Kentucky. She doesn't know when she will be returning home, or even if that is going to be an option for her. She needed to get away and that's exactly what she did.
What she didn't count on was her dad and brother freezing her bank account so she would have no access to any money. This forces her to go out and look for a job in order to survive. It's here that she finds herself in a truck stop diner and it's here that she literally runs into a man named Ryder. Ryder is the VP of the DDMC and drives a rig. Right away he's drawn to her and she's drawn to him but Faith's been hurt before and doesn't want to give her heart away again after what happened.
Ryder is determined to show Faith that she is worthy of love and whether or not she wants it, she will be his. But Ryder has a lot riding on the next few runs for the MC. Still paying a debt for what his father did, Ryder is confined to driving the Rig for the MC. All he wants is the open road and his girl on his bike, but he must first complete the runs for the club to clear the debt that's owed. Can Ryder show Faith that he's one temptation she should give in to? Can Faith learn to trust Ryder.
I read this book almost nonstop. It was different from a lot of the other MC novels I have read lately. I did scratch my head a little bit though because Ryder isn't like your typical bad boy, he's so sweet to her and it makes me want to see if he has another side to him or if this is how he acts towards all women. This book left me intrigued to read more, and I look forward to reading the next book in the series, I give it 4 stars.
