They form a friendship, a bond with one another where the confide everything with each other. Tristan is very protective of both Mia and Darby always insisting that they have protection when they go to parties and that they are able to defend themselves. One kiss changes everything between them and has them both looking for more.
But both their pasts run too deep within them. Both with a secret that could destroy any hope either has of being able to commit to one another. Can they both learn to let go and love one another? Or will their secrets be enough to tear them apart just when they found one another?
I loved this book. I’m so used to Ella writing erotica that I was surprised to find such a gem with this book. I loved not only having the story of Mia and Tristan but also of Darby and Trace. Both brothers have so many issues that run deep, both have women that they want to be with but don’t know how to do anything other than love ‘em and leave ‘em. I enjoyed watching the journey of Mia and Tristan as they learn to navigate their way through their college life and also having the back-story of Darby and Trace. I look forward to reading their story and the continuation of Mia and Tristan through their story and can’t wait to see where their lives will lead them. I give it 5 stars!
