Let Love Stay eBook
***For the full enjoyment of this series, make sure you read Let Love In first.  It will answer so many questions at the start of book 2.  Without it, you will be pretty lost in the story and this review will contain major spoilers from book 1.***

Maddy thought all her dreams were coming true that is until she allowed Reid to walk away from her and the baby.  She knows that she loves him and that he loves her, but she needs him to face his past in order for him to heal and move on.  Reid refuses to confront his past.  Even with the knowledge for a girl named Katie that his mother is dying, Reid still cannot bring himself to go home and face the mother he left behind four years ago.

As much as Reid doesn't want to admit that Maddy is right, he knows that in order to move forward with his future, he must first put to rest his past.  Still hurting from the death of his older brother Shane, Reid doesn't want to face the reality that Maddy might just be right.

With encouragement from his friend Jack, Reid decides to head home and try to fix what's broken from his past.  But when his world is shifted by revelations from his mother and the baby he is now having with Maddy, will Reid be able to let go of his past and let the new love of his life stay?  Or will his past once again dictate how his future relationship will end up.

Maddy and Reid did a lot of growing up in this book.  The first book was mostly about that them finding that they can learn to one another and this was more about trying to hold on to the love that they share.  This book for me was emotional especially towards the end and I had to stop a few times because there was just so much hurt in this story. I think Melissa did a great job and this book was even better than the first one.  I noticed on Goodreads that there's another book called Let Love Heal and I am curious to see what that book will be about.  Overall it was a good read, 4 stars!

Melissa Collins 2I’ve always been an avid reader. Majoring in English Literature was a no brainer. Becoming a teacher and instilling my love for reading into my students was also a no brainer. I’ve spent the last ten years teaching and I’ve loved (mostly) every minute of it. When I was home on maternity leave for my third son, I discovered a new genre that sparked my creativity. My passion for writing sprang from my love of reading and once I knew I had a story to tell, I couldn’t wait to get it out there. I only hope that my readers enjoy reading my story as much as I enjoyed writing it.
